Graphic & Digital Design
Currently working as part of the Humber College HR department I create graphic and digital designs that are used for training, marketing, and data-collecting purposes. I create multiple variations of requested materials and collaborate with team members by translating their input into the final design. Using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat, I have created and edited PDFs (documents and fillable forms) that meet AODA standards and Humber Branding guidelines. When using photography or selecting illustrations, I ensure that the images represent diversity and inclusivity. These documents are used to collect information from staff regarding various programs and initiatives, such as the President's Awards and Graduate Assistance Program. Using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, I have created advertising materials to promote these events. I ensure that the information presented is engaging, bold, and on-brand.

Video & Motion Design
Motion and movement are becoming more widely accepted and expected elements of digital content. While working within Humber's Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness (HROE) department, I have created animated videos using the Vyond software to promote various initiatives, train staff on how to use the Human Resources Management System (HRMS), and advertise the department's services. I have also used Adobe After Effects to create promotional videos and to animate logos for different projects. With each new undertaking, I ensure that the imagery follows brand standards and enhances, not just embellishes, the strategic message of each project.

Branding
Created branding and supporting branding elements for the Support Staff Professional Development event at Humber College. After collaborating with internal team members, and reviewing the scheduled talks for the event, we defined main themes for each year's event which served as the inspiration for the branding. Based on the branding strategy, created design elements, marketing materials, PowerPoint slides, and overviews of the event's speakers. Variations of the logo and wordmark were created to be included as e-mail signatures, headers and footers on Word and PDF documents, and as headers for support websites, such as Eventbrite. During the online and in-person events, I supported the team by posting questions from attendees, introducing the speakers and making sure that everything was running smoothly. Overall, the event was a success with 60 - 120 employees attending each session.
Support Staff Professional Development Event: 2023
The main topics covered in the 2023 SSPD event were Growth & Development, Mental Health, Sustainability and Personal Well-being. The colour theme for this year featured more bright colours to convey a more exciting and upbeat feeling.
To emphasize the interconnected nature of the theme, the logo and design elements were all created from a set number of geometric elements.
Support Staff Professional Development Event: 2022
For the 2022 SSPD event, the theme was centred around personal and professional growth. The colour green and various nature-based imagery were used to emphasize the theme within the event's branding. By juxtaposing the geometric layout with organic elements, the branding took on a more polished and clean look.

Training Materials
Go1: Created courses within the Go1 e-learning training system. Consulted teams on how to use the system to their benefit, what types of training materials engage and work best, how to launch courses, and track participation. Answered questions posed by staff accessing the courses, walked them through issues and helped troubleshoot errors.
Navigational Videos: created videos using Camtasia and Vyond software to create walkthroughs of features within the HR Management System. Created videos to introduce the new hybrid working model to the College.
PowerPoint Slideshows: Created templates and PowerPoint templates for Hybrid Work Training and Wellness webinars that were presented to the College.
HRMS Guided Learning: Assisted and collaborated with the IBM implementation team to user test a Guided Learning feature on the new HRMS system. This included evaluation and communication with Oracle representatives to update the feature prior to going live to ensure seamless user experience and consistent visual design.
